Well, a week later and I find it safe to say: I completed the 6-week course from h-e-double-hockey-sticks. Chemistry is over FOREVER! (Doing a little dance. Throwing my notes into the air. Already forgetting everything I learned).
Only problem is, it took all my motivation and willpower to get through that course. Since I finished it, I haven't had any drive to go running. That course basically ate my get-up-and-go for breakfast.
But with the perfect New England weather we have been blessed with, I have been swimming 5 days in the last week and my arms are quite sore -- something new instead of my calves! And I have also totally stopped using my brain. So I guess I have been giving myself a break.
But I miss running! Hopefully I'll be posting soon about how glad I am to be back at it...

Yay!! The class is all done!! WAHOO!!
Swimming exercises so much more of your body than just your arms, but you're already fit and probably don't feel it elsewhere! Its a great (no impact!) whole body work out :) I would love to go everyday, but alas, I'm scared of fish (so no natural water) and have a fear of wearing my swimsuit in public (ruling out all other water). *sigh*
